Well, dad and Mary Ellen didn't make it home last night before I ran off with Mike, Zac, and Emily to see the Aviator. It was pretty good, enjoyable, but I really wouldnt want to watch it again. It ended at one in the morning and I decided as I walked to my car, it really wasn't the time to head back to dad's house. My call this morning corfirmed my feelings, Mary Ellen had gone to sleep at 10:30 at night. 1:15 would have been way too late. In a way, I was relieved that she didn't say 3 am. Then I would have felt silly for not coming over.
So, I'll be on my way there right after work. I have a few last things to pick up there, and some food I'm gonna eat for dinner.
Before the movie I bought a book. It's a prequel to Peter Pan co-written by Dave Barry and some other guy. I love Dave Barry, but I just have trouble imagining literature spouting from him, so I'm skeptical, especially considering how much I love peter pan.
